Biographies

Dr Fabrizio Zanaboni

Dr Fabrizio Zanaboni earned his degree in Economics at Università Commerciale Luigi Bocconi in Milan.

He began his professional career at BSI Group, London in 1986, where he worked as a Client Relationship Officer and Asset Manager. In 1993 he received a Masters in Business Administration (MBA) from Cass City University in London, with a focus on Finance and Corporate Treasury Management.

In 2000 he was appointed Head of Private Banking and built a large department with clients based in Europe, Latin America, Eastern Europe and the Middle East. He successfully increased the clients' assets from $300m to $750m.

In 2006 Fabrizio was appointed Head of International Wealth Management at BSI Generali UK Ltd, a joint venture with Generali Group.

In 2007 he moved to The Bahamas as the new CEO of Banca del Gottardo, Bank and Trust Company, one of the 15 largest banks in Switzerland.

Fabrizio has been an Approved Person by the FSA (Financial Services Authority) since 1990.

Leonard Barenboim

Leonard Barenboim is a senior venture and investment banking advisor with FAB Capital Markets, a divisions of FAB Portfolio Management (Bahamas) LLC. Prior to this engagement, Mr. Barenboim has served as general manager, investment banker and venture consultant on emerging markets projects over a 20-year period.

Leonard started his capital markets career in 1986, when he joined an Australian division of Potter Partners with SG Warburg in New York, where he served as a securities broker specializing in Australia and New Zealand equities distribution for institutional investors in the US.

In 1994 he was contracted to the United States Government's Agency for International Development to participate in a series of projects to promote development of orderly capital markets in the countries of the former Soviet Union, with specialty in privatization.

Between 1996 and 2000 Mr. Barenboim functioned as branch general manager in Baku Azerbaijan for a boutique investment banking firm of AJG Investments based in Florida, specializing in local privatization and provision of corporate advisory services to institutional clients investing in emerging markets of CIS and Russia/Ukraine/Caucasus. In that capacity, Leonard had managed $140 million of institutional assets and advised on a number of corporate privatization and corporate re-structuring projects.

In 2000, Leonard had joined with Metromedia International Group, where he functioned as co-president of a telecommunications provider called Caspian American Telecom in Baku Azerbaijan. There he spearheaded a corporate transformation of the asset and oversaw an orderly exit from the investment by Metromedia in 2002.

Between 2003-2009, Leonard functioned as a senior management and venture consultant for and on behalf of MKTC Telenet Ltd., Chiron Capital, Advanced Equities Inc. and MSK Capital, and completed a number of capital raising and process re-engineering assignments in Russia, Ukraine, Azerbaijan, Romania, China, and the United States.

Leonard holds a degree in Economics from the City University of New York and a certificate in securities analysis from the New York University. He is also a registered securities broker and investment advisor with Series 7 and Series 66 FINRA licenses.
